This is a development episode where the semi-absent plot would like the dear viewers to take notice of it’s existence. The episode starts off with another depressed target, Kenta, locked up in his room.
And that white hatted little girl looking up at his window from across the street smiling.
Then the opening rolls and suddenly the setting is in a medical facility in Plug’s dimension where one of the charger girls is in critical condition being rushed to the emergency room while going into shock.
She suffered severe burns on her arms while being electrocuted, her suit could not protect her.
Plug and Alesta are attending a staff briefing on the incident, the cause of the injury was due to excessive backfeed that burned through the ground wire; backfeed is explained in detail to Plug by Alesta.
In short, back feed is when the current flows in the opposite direction to the point where the suit is damaged and can no longer offer any protection resulting in serious injury or death. Targets that cause backfeed are classified as Z level and deemed unchargeable, something that Plug does not like. The target in question, Kenta, was bullied often and after it stopped for awhile and he became happy, a misunderstanding caused him to believe it had started again thus resulting in his depression worsening. While Plug is looking into Kenta’s background some of her fellow chargers show up to bother her.
Officially Kenta’s depression level is B class, but he was a D class when first discovered further deepening Plug’s concern over his worsening condition that may become A class soon (apparently A class depression can cause heart failure). Further information reveals that current suits can only last approximately five seconds against the backfeed produced and trying to charge him up for five seconds at a time would mean having to repeat the process 350 times, far beyond what the power transformers can handle. At this time news reaches them about a new model suit designed for higher voltage use.
Alesta is the one selected to test out the suit’s capabilities and the scene shifts to Plug in Sentou’s house watching her favorite rape anime this time consisting of a robot firing it’s arm at Milly destroying her cloths leaving her panties and breasts totally exposed, however not even this makes her happy. Even Sentou notices how down she is and refrains from hitting her with his baseball bat.
Now it flashes back to Alesta telling Plug the suit is for data gathering purposes only, not to save Kenta. The only real difference between the new model and the old one is the gloves are three times thicker; they plan on charging Kenta, but not finishing the job. Plug is upset over this as her superiors tell her there is nothing anyone can do about it as it flashes back to the present where Sentou is vacuuming his room since this is the only time he can do it with work and school, this gives Plug and idea. Now it is time for the ever popular eye catch…
Right after Alesta arrives in the human world Plug once again shows off her submissive holding skills
After Alesta throws her off, Plug begs to use the new suit; after being denied and her intentions to recharge Kenta revealed, Plug resorts to the blackmail she collected in episode 3.
A few minutes later and Plug is wearing the new suit, however, a strength test from Alesta reveals it to be only slightly better than a normal suit and that using it on Kenta will only result in Plug getting shocked. Undeterred, Plug refuses to abort the mission and with the new suit’s speed upgrade she is easily able to escape Alesta. Kenta is on the roof looking out at where his school is (still with the look of death in his eyes) when Plug arrives, now she is completely determined to save him regardless of whatever consequences she has to face.
Once she begins charging Alesta catches up and after five seconds the backfeed starts to cause Plug pain.
The suit is already burning away when the charging is only 50% done, by the time she gets to 75% the life checker shatters and the charge plug is in flames while Alesta continues to try and persuade Plug to stop claiming it is meaningless if she dies in the process. At this point Plug is holding on with sheer willpower as the ground wire has already burnt through; Plug manages to completely charge Kenta though her suit is burned away around her arms, chest, and behind where the ground wire was, elsewhere Sentou seems to have sensed something happened. Plug is caught by an emergency medical team dispatched to their location that immediately transports her to the medical facilities. All the while that little girl with the white hat had been watching bewildered before walking away smiling and making a passing bicycler crash out of depression.
Back in Plug’s world her captain notes that the suit was a complete failure and hopes the “leakage girls don’t make a big deal out of it” whoever they might be, also the only male seen in this world to date is busy smiling to himself.
At the medical center/hospital place Plug is being rushed to emergency treatment while Alesta shows her that Kenta is doing fine now thanks to Plug before she loses consciousness again. End of episode.
Impression: Way to SERIOUS THE FUCK UP, good usage of nipples too (for once it makes sense why they would be erect all the time), the only peeing was in the eye catch, not much screen time for the domestic violence king who at least did not commit his favorite crime of beating cute girls with baseball bats this episode. Over all the most dramatic episode since the first one; based on the preview next episode will finally introduce those girls in the white suits seen in the opening and ending as well as Alesta in various costumes for some reason or another.
